While we are not an auditioned group, we do have a requirement for membership: Members must be able to match pitch, keep a steady beat and perform basic rhythms correctly.   It is very helpful if you have basic music reading skills.   

Adults, College and High School students are welcome to join.  (High School Freshman - 9th grade or older. ) 

There is no cost to join the group, but a refundable $45 music deposit fee will be due at your first rehearsal: cash or checks made out to Adirondack Voices. You will need this to receive your packet of music.  (No credit or debit cards accepted)  *This deposit will be returned you after the concert when your music is returned to the group. 

• Rehearsals are every Tuesday at Christ Church United Methodist  54 Bay Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801

• Rehearsals are a full 2 hours; 7:00 - 9:00 pm 

• Attendance requirements: We need you in the seats each week unless you are unable to attend due to sickness/family emergency.  Our policy is that you must attend 75% of scheduled rehearsals to sing in the concert.

• We will be using our website for all news.  You should check here once a week. 

• Masks will be OPTIONAL for all rehearsals/performance 

• Music is not always taught note by note by the director at each rehearsal.  Music is often sight read in parts. 

• Members are expected to practice their part on their own between rehearsals (as their time allows). 

We usually perform approx. 10-12 pieces per concert. Music is not memorized.  Therefore, members are asked to provide a 3 ring binder to hold their music for our concert performance.
